As far as I’m concerned, the best thing about lockdown and home school earlier this year was that it broke the nit cycle at school.

But it resurfaced in Term 3!

My daughter has very thick hair and, with all the tears and recrimination, it’s almost impossible to remove all the eggs. After spending $140 at Australian Lice Clinics – worth every cent, I might add – I almost flinch every time she or her brother scratch their heads, in case they’re back.

And if any adults are talking about the, er, problem, we ALWAYS start scratching our heads!
